What is this election for?

This by-election fills the vacant seat left by former Deputy Jonathan Le Tocq. No printed manifesto booklet will be produced — all candidate manifestos will be published at byelection2026.gg. Nominations closed on 25 March 2026 with 11 candidates confirmed.

First time voting?

Guernsey's voting age is 16. To be eligible you must be ordinarily resident in Guernsey. There are no nationality restrictions. Registration takes only a couple of minutes.
